The rules of the game are as follows:
1. after asking them if they wanted it (which they did), you give them loads of research, anticipating that they would be outraged and would want to help, and that research is passed around (without my permission!!) as if it was theirs and as if they were owed it;
2. after a few months you ask for their help, anticipating and expecting help, but none is offered;
3. so you try to encourage or provoke offers of help through several different means, but again, no thanks or offers of help are forthcoming;
4. so after nearly two years of trying, you feel pretty pissed off at giving all that info when they had indicated that they wanted it, yet they do not even show any sign of gratitude, never mind offer to help, so due to their reluctance to even give any thanks or offer to help you tell them to fuck off and ask them to delete the research because they cannot be trusted with it;
5. after many more similar requests that they delete what was sent to them, which they refuse, they then decide that that research is forfeit and claim rights to it.
Ungrateful and selfish or what?
I'm not playing that game again. NO FUCKING WAY!!
And I advise everyone else to do the same (and also sweep your house for bugs while you're at it).
