KUDOS TO BILL TURNBULL

It was former BBC presenter Bill Turnbull's first show on Classic FM this morning.

He played this: Vaughan Williams - Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis

I just read his wikipedia page. Bill went through an experiment in sleep deprivation.
In August 2006, he agreed to take part in a polyphasic sleep experiment presented on BBC One's The One Show. In this experiment, he slept for a total of three hours per day, in six thirty-minute bursts, for ten consecutive days. The effect of this sleep pattern on his health was plain to see as he presented Breakfast almost every weekday during the duration of the exercise and became increasingly sleep deprived.

This is very similar to what I went through being zapped, except for me I was allowed one hour 'bursts' of sleep, and was at its most intense between 2001 and 2005 inclusive. Such sleep deprivation over such a long time takes its toll. And the internal damage is hidden.
