But what did Parubiy during the Maidan shootings?

Well, even though the police told the Maidan organisers that several policemen had been shot dead and the shooting was coming from the Conservatory, Parubiy said that his men could find nothing there while the shooting was ongoing. But in February last year the BBC reported the statements of 'Sergei' who stated that he and several others were given weapons and ammo and shot at police from the Conservatory!
