IT'S TIME FOR BUFFER ZONES BETWEEN INTERNATIONAL AND SOVEREIGN AIR SPACE

5 feet.

That's how far we were from possible WW3 when a Russian SU27 'intercepted' a US Navy EP-3 Aries spy plane in international air spae.

I don't want to die in a WW3 caused by a couple of nutter pilots, regardless of their nationality.

So why not have a buffer zone between international air space and sovereign air space.

And let's make it bigger than 5 feet, eh?

Say, a few miles either side of the boundary between international and sovereign air space that nobody enters?
