The Shekel was losing before Hamas attacked.
But the Monday after the attack the Shekel plunged against all major currencies, even against the U S Dollar.
And it has barely recovered any of those losses.
The markets have little faith that Israel can strike a glorious victory, even as the USA sends a 2nd carrier strike group to support Israel.
