Ut was the FBI who torpedoed Clinton by suggesting that,with just days to go before the election, Clinton's emails were 'suspicious'. This suggestion was made in public when it didn't need to be. Clinton lost about 5% in the polls because of that public statement. But the day before the election the FBI said there was nothing suspicious in the emails. Clinton recovered at most 2% in the polls, but it was not enough. So Trump won.
