Yesterday the French Finance Minister criticised the legislation being proposed to regulate hedge funds as weak. The hedge funds in British islands across the globe were key to the current financial crisis.
The flat of the brother of Carla Bruni's former lover was broken into and several items of potentially embarrassing material were stolen. It appears it was a professional burglary and the burglars seemed to know the material was there and where it was.
