It is being reported that the Abdullah Azzam Brigade (AAB) is claiming responsibility for the explosion on the M Star last week in the Strait of Hormuz. The AAB is alleged to be affiliated to al-Qaeda, and they say that the attack was led by Ayyub al-Taishan. The organisation who noticed this claim of responsibility is SITE, which looks Israeli. The AAB sometimes claims responsibility for events already claimed by other organisations.
So who knows?
