IF IT LOOKS LIKE REGIME CHANGE AND SOUNDS LIKE REGIME CHANGE AND SMELLS LIKE REGIME CHANGE AND TASTES LIKE REGIME CHANGE

The hastily agreed UN SCR 1973 is wide open to interpretation. The statement that no occupation shall take place looks iron clad, but still allows the possibility for short term operations by foreign special forces, such as assassination, training and logistical support.

And even now, just 24 hours after the resolution was passed, the aim of any action is rapidly morphing from humanitarian intervention into regime change. Cameron demanded that Gaddafi go.
It is almost impossible to envisage a future for Libya that includes him. Gaddafi must go, he has no legitimacy.[1]

(and yes that is the same Cameron who is killing sick old people via the Liverpool Care Pathway in order to pay for the bailouts of his Nazi friends and financiers in The City)

Craig Murray has written his analysis of UN SCR 1973[2]. Apparently a paragraph which was proposed by the UK which would have excluded the rebels from the arms embargo was dropped. But this exposes the motives of the UK. And you can bet your last SDR that they are at this very minute at least advising the rebels, if not training and arming them, in direct contravention of the resolution.

And now Russia is trying to wriggle out of allowing NATO and its allies to takeover North Africa, warning against a large scale invasion and stating that they were given assurances that no large scale military operation would take place[3], yet no agreement was reached as to how exactly the no fly zone would be implemented. If NATO is Not A Trustworthy Organisation and we see an invasion of Libya, then again Russia will have egg on its face, so much egg that one could start to wonder just who really does run Russia..
