THE DISTURBING MAN AT THE BUS STOP

This afternoon I saw a very disturbing man at the bus stop.

When I arrived at the bus stop this man was sat staring at the window in front of him, not doing anything, not moving, not talking, just sat very still. I thought something was not right about him and looked closer at him. I then noticed what looked like a very small metal hollow cylinder just behind his right ear. This cylinder looked like it was not decorative, like an ear ring or stud, but was something left over from surgery on his brain, perhaps used to allow a wire to be threaded through it. After about 20 seconds this man suddenly starts talking to himself, but it was more like a conversation, with him saying, "OK", "Yeah", "I know". He then stands up and starts to walk away from the bus stop, still talking as if he was holding a conversation with an invisible entity. This was strange because at the bus stop there is a small screen which reports when the bus is due, and two were due very soon. And sure enough, when this man was about 50m away from the stop, still talking himself but in a much more animated way and holding the back of his head, the bus arrived. He did not return to catch the bus, but continued walking away, holding the back of his head, talking, and almost shouting, to this invisible entity.

It was all very weird, bizzare and disturbing.

Has anyone else seen anything like this?

When he was walking away from the bus stop, it seemed like the man was being told to do something but he was not going to do it. So was he holding his head because he was in slight pain due to his refusal to do whatever he was being told to do, if that was the case?
