I find it incredible that G4S has been unable to provide the security that was agreed to protect The Olympic Games in London this year. London was awarded the games 7 years ago, and with just two weeks to go before the games start the Army and the Police are being brought in.
A few months ago missiles were placed on some buildings close to the main stadium.
But I have noticed a gradual militarisation of sporting events in the UK, with military carrying out trophies, drawing out balls for the FA Cup, and weren't the muggins military honoured at Wimbledon this year too?
So what better way to work their way further into our hearts (and prepare us for martial law) than for the military to come to the rescue and provide security for The Olympic Games?
