KEN CLARKE STAYS IN THE CABINET

The Guardian is reporting that Ken Clarke has been "demoted" from Justice Secretary to Minister Without Portfolio.
Mr Clarke is being given a new role as minister without portfolio in the Cabinet Office, where he will act as a government "wise head" offering advice to the prime minister on issues including economic strategy.

Justice Secretary was a minor position to begin with, but Clarke is in some very powerful company in this new position. Lords Milner, Carrington and Mandelson have all held that position, so it is not a role to be belittled. It indicates Clarke's importance.

It looks so far like Osborne and Hague are staying put.

Cameron dare not sack a fellow Bilderberger, no matter how poor they are performing!

And now with Clarke free to give as much Bilderberg advice to Cameron as he can take we can expect the Bilderberg agenda to move on.
