I wasn't going to write for a while, but along comes one of those special politicians to open his big mouth to provoke me into writing. That special politician is Alistair Burt.
Alistair Burt used to be an officer for The Conservative Friends of Israel, but recently appears to have possibly turned a bit against Israeli policies, but not much. And I say not much because Burt has written something for Chatham House, THE think tank for propagating British foreign policy, which laments the lack of military response on behalf of Israel last year. Burt's ignorant, and thus suspicious given his former relationship with Israel, article exposes the kind of thinking that goes on in the corridors of power: Burt suggests that we should abandon democracy when it comes to waging war!!
The father and/or grandfather of many a reader of this blog and of Burt's article will have fought in World War 1 and World War 2 to defend democracy. We were told that Germany was to blame for WW1. In fact it is the British monarchy who engineered all the bloodshed of WW1 with the aim of creating a world government that they would control. But that failed. We were told that WW2 was fought to defend democracy against the Nazis, yet Hitler was created by The City of London and Wall Street but they then turned on him, siding with a known mass murderer of millions, Stalin, eventually giving him the very country we went to war to defend, Poland!! And not forgetting that WW2, following many, many more deaths and much more trauma and chaos, eventually produced a world government, the United Nations.
Burt was very pissed off at the decision not to attack Syria last year after the horrific events of Ghouta. But Burt still thinks Assad was responsible, not once proposing a suggestion as to why Assad would order such an attack when UN inspectors were just down the road and such an attack would provide the perfect casus belli for NATO to go to war against Syria. On the other hand there was plenty of evidence that the rebels possessed chemical weapons, had tested them on live rabbits, and had issued threats on video of using their chemical weapons to get what they wanted or needed. And oh how they needed overt large scale military assistance in August because they were being annihilated by the Syrian Arab Army.
And not forgetting the lovely threats that Prince Bandar bin Sultan issued to Putin last summer.
And, like The Guardian, Burt is overjoyed that Syria has decided to relinquish its chemical weapons, but not once does Burt mention Israel's more powerful, more threatening and more horrific stockpile of not only chemical but also biological and even nuclear weapons!
Burt also has a dig at Russia, Iran and Hezbollah, not once mentioning the demented, medieval Jihadis and their cutthroat cannibalism, and the fact that Russia, Iran and Hezbollah have been and are fighting against these cannibal cutthroat Jihadis.
Nor does Burt mention that it is we who planned the insertion of the Syrian rebels in 2009...TWO YEARS BEFORE THE (FAKE) ARAB SPRING KICKED OFF IN SYRIA!!
Alistair Burt is a disgrace to the human race. And he is not the only one in The Marsten House. That evil house if full 'em, living in blissful ignorance.
