ON TRYING TO UNDERSTAND OWEN JONES

In NATO APOLOGIST OWEN JONES I questioned Jones' statement in an article in The Guardian regarding the killing of Colonel Gaddafi.

After describing the total disaster that is now Libya, Jones apologised for NATO with this nice little one-liner (and it is a joke):
But with a murderous thug ejected from power, who could object?

Libya was the crown jewel of Africa. It is now a shit hole. The war on Libya was just one of seven in a plan for totaler krieg revealed to General Wesley Clark shortly after the inside job 9/11. The first war was on Afghanistan, which was to restore opium production to record levels. But after that it has been relentless Zionist totaler krieg:
Iraq in 2003;
Lebanon in 2006;
Libya in 2011;

And it was supposed to be Syria in 2013, but the false flag of Ghouta failed. They exposed themselves and failed in the process.

The propaganda for war on Iraq was much more powerful and relentless. This was because Iraq had been the prime target of the people behind this totaler krieg. The Project for a New American Century wrote to then President Bill Clinton in 1998 demanding regime change in Iraq. Two years later PNAC named Iraq and Iran as the prime threats to US national security. So it was no surprise that Iraq was top of the hit list after 9/11.

The propaganda against Saddam Hussein was overwhelming: he did 9/11; he allowed terrorists based in Iraq to do 9/11; he had WMDs aimed at all our backyard BBQs. Non stop.

But I can't see why war on Libya was OK, because in the words of Owen Jones,
But with a murderous thug ejected from power, who could object?
when Saddam Hussein was accused of much, much worse.

Jones writes
What hope, then, for the future? It is difficult to see how the continuing collapse of Iraq can be avoided: the more informed the expert, the more despairing they seem to be. There will be those who champion more western intervention. But whatever happens, this calamity must never be allowed to happen again.

So how can Jones say, "never again", yet champion war on Libya?

What is the next war that Jones will support because it will end "with a murderous thug ejected from power"?
