GEORGE GALLOWAY POINTS OUT THAT MOST MPS ARE TALKING ABOUT BOMBING SYRIA

George Galloway pointed out that nearly every MP who has spoken so far is talking more about bombing Syria than bombing Iraq. This betrays what this war is all about: Syria.

But what Galloway failed to point out is that nobody has suggested what happens next in Iraq, let alone Syria.

We have in The Marsten House a coven of ill-informed trigger-happy armchair generals who get drunk on their own war potions.

THEY KNOW FUCK ALL!!

Galloway quite rightly pointed out that IS do not have bases. They live among the population. There are at most 30000 of them in a territory the size of Great Britain (though that 30000 suddenly appeared a few weeks ago without much evidence).

In addition, missiles are not precise.

And Galloway also pointed out that IS can only be in power over such a large area and large number of people because those people are generally sympathetic in one way or another. Indeed, sympathetic officers in the Iraqi Army ordered their units to stand down to allow the rebels escaping from Syria to seize that land and territory and eventually declare the Islamic State.

So:
1. an enemy hiding among civilians;
2. missiles that are not 100% accurate;
3. a probably sympathetic civilian population.

This is a recipe for disaster.

I think a number of MPs are going to lose their seats in the next general election because of this war.
