FREE STATE OF JONES

The World Socialist Web Site has published a critique of a new film entitled Free State of Jones.

From 1863 to 1865, Newton Knight (1837-1922), a white, antislavery farmer in Jones County in southern Mississippi, led an insurrection against the Confederacy. Inspired by Knight’s life and struggle, Free State of Jones, written and directed by Gary Ross, is a fictional account of an enormously compelling, but little known chapter in American history.

I seriously doubt that this free state is named after the ancestors of Alex Jones, because they were pro-Confederacy, some were even colonels and generals in the Confederate Army fighting to preserve the disgusting brutal institution of slavery.

Who they were he won't say.

He'll shout his mouth about anything and everything.

But on his slavery-loving Confederate ancestors? Or the members of his family who are/were CIA? Deathly silence.
