There was a time that Infowhores portrayed Putin as the devil incarnate, e.g. running terror plots in Russia. But now Putin is a hero for allying with Trump.
But Trump is now being advised on foreign policy by Henry Kissinger. Trump has met Kissinger at least twice in the last 18 months, and Kissinger also meets with Trump's superstar son-in-law Jared Kushner to offer advice, which no doubt finds its way to Trump.
Trump claims that nobody loves Israel more than he does, and at AIPAC he basically got down on his knees and did you-know-what to the AIPAC leadership.
Trump said of Kissinger:
President-elect Donald Trump met Thursday with former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger to discuss "events and issues around the world."
According to an official statement from the president-elect's team, Trump and Kissinger met in New York, and their conversation focused on Russia, China, Iran and the European Union.
"President-elect Trump and Dr. Kissinger have known each other for years and had a great meeting. They discussed China, Russia, Iran, the EU and other events and issues around the world," the statement reads.
“I have tremendous respect for Dr. Kissinger and appreciate him sharing his thoughts with me,” Trump said, according to the statement.
Kissinger and Trump met during the Republican presidential primaries, a visit Trump hoped would build up his foreign policy credentials.

But here is Bernie Sanders on Kissinger:
"I am proud to say that Henry Kissinger is not my friend," Sanders said angrily, when he raised the issue in the debate. "I will not take advice from Henry Kissinger."
