TRUMP DID NOT BREAK PROMISE TO MOVE U S EMBASSY TO JERUSALEM

Multiple reports in Israeli media state that Trump has told the Palestinians that he will not necessarily move the U S Embassy to Jerusalem. But the Palestinians are denying any such contact with or statement from Trump.

Senior Palestinian sources denied Wednesday a report that Ramallah had received assurances from Trump administration officials that the promised move of the US embassy to Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem would not take place unilaterally.

The report earlier in the day in the London-based Arabic-language daily Asharq Al-Awsat had cited an unnamed Palestinian source saying PA officials were “relieved” by the assurances.
