DOES TRUMP KNOW THAT THE WAR IN AFGHANISTAN IS ACTUALLY ABOUT OPIUM?

By the late 1990's Afghanistan was the top producer of opium. By a long way.

But then in 2000 the Taliban banned opium production.

The following year the USA bombed the shit out of the Taliban, accusing them of harbouring al Qaeda who the USA claimed had done 9/11.

A few years later Afghanistan was once again the top producer of opium. By a long way.

There are lots and lots and lots of dollars to be earned in heroin...
