Theresa May initially said the substance used on the Skripals was definitely, no two ways about it, military grade Russian Novichok.

But Porton Down told the High Court that the Skripals were exposed to "a nerve agent or related compound. The samples tested positive for the presence of a Novichok class nerve agent or closely related agent."
