The number of ancient man-made structures deeply submerged underneath the oceans cannot be ignored. Their number suggests that there was a relatively quick addition of water to the original water volume of our planet Earth a long time ago.
David Icke's theory that the Earth's rotation was affected by the dragging of our moon to orbit the Earth does not fully explain this situtation. It explains why ancients described the earth rotating and the Noah-like floods, but not why those structures are so deep under water. Which suggests to me that there has been a large and fast addition of water to this planet.
So I'll raise Icke and suggest this: what if this additional water to Earth was deliberately dragged from Mars using our Moon's gravity, which destroyed any civilisations on Mars because the Mars civilisations could pose a threat to the 'reptilians' and their new colony of us, destroyed Earthoids.
In other words: is Mars dry because the Moon was deliberately dragged close enough to Mars to drag Mars' water to Earth, flood Earth, kill Mars, leaving the reps to manipulate survivors of the floods and general destabilisations of us dutiful humans here on our very own Planet Earth?
