But then one night Israel didn't tell Russia what it was going to do resulting in a Russian military plane being shot down by Syrian air defences. Russia then gave Syria the S300. Only after 3 years!! During which Israel has bombed and bombed and bombed Syria at will. Syrian military are claiming that the S300 is already having a massive deterrent effect on Israeli aggression.
