The CIA/US State Department-run Arab Spring, which was designed to overthrow specific governments, finally caught up with Lebanon. And is aimed at Iran.
Israel engineered a war on Lebanon in 2006. But they somehow lost.
Shortly after 9/11 General Wesley Clark was informed of a US plan for war and regime change in 7 countries in 5 years: Iraq, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Libya, Sudan, and Somalia. Despite those 7 countries having nothing to do with 9/11 or having WMDs. But those 7 countries were/are enemies of Israel.
The first of these wars was on Iraq in 2003.
The second was on Lebanon in 2006.
The whole point of 9/11 is to get Iran.
Iran is the main and strongest opposition to Israel.
Iran is alleged by the USA and Israel to be the prime sponsor of international terrorism, when in fact the USA and Israel are the prime sponsor of international terrorism along with Saudi Arabia. This USA-Israel-Saudi axis-of-evil did 9/11 to get their main common enemy Iran, taking out and/or weakening Iran's allies along the way. Hence, Trump is now grabbing Syria's oil so that Syria cannot use the revenue to reconstruct and re-arm itself after years of internal strife provoked by the USA-Israel-Saudi axis-of-evil unleashing first al-Qaeda then Islamic State onto Syria to get Assad. If Syria needs finance then it will be forced to take-out high cost loans from particular international banks with very strict T&Cs.
