HOW MANY MEDALS DID U S MILITARY WIN AT THE MILITARY GAMES IN 2015?

The US Department of Defense says 17 (7 gold, 4 silver, 6 bronze).

DoD Report on Military Games 2015

But Wikipedia says a total 6 (2 of each).

As for 2019:

Wikipedia says a total of 8 (3 silver, 5 bronze).

But Military.com says a total of 10 (1 gold, 4 silver, 5 bronze), which also says the 2 trialthlon medals were not officially counted because they were won by the over-40 team.

So by the miracle of mathematics: 10 - 2 = 8

So in 2019 there seems to be some agreement.

But for 2015 there is a huge difference. Unless a large number in 2015 were again not officially counted because they were won by the over-40 team?

Further reading of a report by the US DoD indicates that 8 of the 17 medals were not officially counted because they were won in para-athletics and para-archery (which were then deemed demonstration sports) and 3 more won by the over-40 team (see above).

And again by the miracle of mathematics: 17 - 8 - 3 = 6

So although a total of 8 medals in 2019 for the mighty US military seems very poor, it is actually an improvement on 2015.

This puts a dent in the theory that the USA released Covid-19 at the military games in Wuhan by a fake athletic team.

But it also does not disprove that theory.

Further research is needed on the performance of the U S military at these games in games previous to 2015 to see if the U S military is not that good at the military games.

Perhaps Veterans Today could do that?
