BLOODY SUNDAY : EVENTS JUDGED BY BRIGADIER FREEMASON WIDGERY

What. A. Tragic. Farce.

Both Bloody Sunday (Greengrass) and Sunday (McGovern) refer to the number of deaths by the IRA in the months before that day.

But those were revenge for the Ballymurphy Massacre committed by the British.

But what provoked the Ballymurphy Massacre?

Nothing.

It was 1 Para who implemented Operation Demetrius.

So in response to the IRA response to Ballymurphy, the British sent in 1 Para (again), who were based in Belfast, immediately into Londonderry (unfamiliar territory) to 'arrest' low level activists by stopping a peaceful civil rights march against internment and capture the Derry young hooligans in a pincer.

But it failed. Possibly by design.

Greengrass suggests it was because the Paras were hidden behind a wall, which they were going to bust through but the Paras somehow didn't know there was a 3 foot drop behind the wall, so the initial plan descended into chaos. McGovern suggests there was a plot to provoke a major incident by General Ford.

Whatever. 1 Para went on a bloody rampage. It ended with 14 dead civilians, all shot dead by 1 Para.

And to cover it all up the British gave the job to Brigadier Freemason Widgery.

So then the IRA took the fight to the British mainland and London.
