How did we get here?
The financial crisis of 2007/8. We bailed out The City of London.
The Covid crisis of 2020/1. We implemented lockdown and furlough, and bought loads of deadly vaccines and tests.
So how come, when the government goes on about the cost of living crisis, the government basically does nowt, and kicks the poorest in the knackers while no windfall tax on energy corporations?
