About 2 months ago Putin declared that Russia was all in with China for the next 30 years, and signed a contract with China to guarantee Russian fossil fuel to China at fair prices and the trade will not be in the U S Dollar but in the Euro.
But if Europe cannot obtain Russian fuel, or only at significantly inflated prices, and China has almost limitless access to Russian fuel at relatively cheap prices?
Then Europe will suffer big time.
But then the USA will offer its liquified gas to be shipped in over the Atlantic. Thus Europe, but Germany in particular, will be dependent on the USA for its fuel.
