The soliton is the basis of our digital world which is based on 0s and 1s.
The 1s are wave solutions of a set of equations governing EM wave propagation.
But these waves are special because they retain their form and energy over long distances and do not lose any form or energy as they interact with other waves. So they are ideal for digital communications in which gerzillions of these waves, called solitons, are flying around everywhere conveying information.
But are solitons being abused to enslave humanity?
