HAARETZ ANALYSIS CONCLUDES NETANYAHU IS USING WAR FOR ELECTORAL GAIN

There's an election in Israel soon. Haaretz analysis suggests that Netanyahu is using the war for his electoral gain.

But I would add that Netanyahu is also on trial for corruption.

If Netanyahu becomes a war hero and saviour of Israel then he stands a good chance of re-election AND if found guilty of corruption then receive just a slap on the wrist instad of the life sentence he fully deserves.
