Israel was given everything it wanted during the cold war. The Israelis had to help to assassinate JFK, but his replacement LBJ was a very good friend of Israel. When Israel attacked the USS Liberty and killed 34 US servicemen LBJ covered it up!
The USA claimed Israel as a great ally in the fight against Communism.
But Israel went on to do 9/11.
