Israel created Hamas to counter Arafat.
Israel nurtured and protected Hamas to stop the creation of a Palestinian state.
Now with Netanyahu in huge political trouble Israel provoked Hamas, and on 7th October allowed the attack by Hamas. Israel even joined in the killing to inflate the number of deaths, and attributed all deaths to Hamas.
Israel is now crying Hamas must be destroyed as Israel levels The Gaza Strip and kills 20,000 Palestinians, almost half of them children.
Will Israel really destroy Hamas?
Or leave just enough of Hamas to survive, to provide Israel with the excuse for more aid and control?
Or if not, then will Israel create, or allow to be created, Hamas 2.0?
