Volunteer? Mandatory service? Conscription?
Which is it?
Whatever. They all end in blood.
Quick reminder that NATO provoked the invasion of Ukraine by Russia. NATO ran a revolution in Ukraine in 2014, shooting up the Maidan Square and blaming the massacre on Russia. Then NATO ran their Nazis to overthrow the democratically elected government of Ukraine and installed a neo-Nazi junta who began a de facto civil war against the pro-Russia east of Ukraine. That civil war led to the MH17 disaster. The war ended with the Minsk II Accords. Zelensky, to be elected as President, told Ukraine that he would end that war by implementing Minsk II. But NATO whispered in his ear, and Zelensky reneged on his promise to the Ukrainian people. So when Zelensky began calling for the ethnic cleansing of east Ukraine, Russia invaded. Note how Russia has not advanced any further than east Ukraine, just as they said they would. At the moment Zelensky is dragging 90 year old women in their wheelchairs to the frontline to defend Ukraine from an invasion by Russia that he provoked and was encouraged to do by NATO.
So now that Ukraine has nobody left as cannon fodder, NATO demands that we 'volunteer' to be cannon fodder.
I don't fink so.
