The UK is officially in a recession.
Rishi Sunak was Chancellor of the Exchequer from 13th February to 5th July 2022, and has been Prime Minister since 25th October 2022.
So it's very fair to say that this recession is a Rishi-ssion.
Tacky but true.
The privileged lad's been in charge of the economy for 4 years.
