Now that Obama is the fart in the spacesuit, following allegations and implications that he was personally listening into the phone calls and personally reading the texts, tweets and blogs of world leaders as well as millions of unsuspecting citizens around the world, Der Fuhrer David Cameron is making veiled threats to the media that he will issue D notices if further leaks are printed.
So what has happened is that just enough information has been leaked with implications to direct everyone's anger at Obama, but when the leaks actually threaten the security state then...BANG! It's D notice time.
What has Obama done to deserve this? He has steadfastly refused to bomb Syria, and is pursuing diplomacy with Iran.
Why did Cameron not immediately slap D notices on The Guardian in June when these allegations began?
We do have to ask if a D Notice has been slapped on the claims by the former French foreign minister Roland Dumas that in 2009 he was asked to help the British to infiltrate into Syria the cutthroat Jihadis we now see decapitating everything that moves in Syria.
