The UK is now injecting British children with an experimental gene therapy that could leave them sterile and/or brain damaged.
The EU is no way near this situation.
But both the EU and the UK are at about the same position on vaccine passports: their introduction is being trialed and phased in for large events and travel, but not yet implemented for shopping etc.
