NATO endured because while the Soviet Union was no more, the Alliance’s two other original if unspoken mandates still held: to deter the rise of militant nationalism and to provide the foundation of collective security that would encourage democratization and political integration in Europe.

"Deter the rise of militant nationalism"? NATO just used militant nationalists, neo Nazis, in Ukraine to overthrow a legitimately elected government and install one of their own puppets, Arseny Yatsenyuk.
"Provide the foundation of collective security that would encourage democratization and political integration in Europe"? After installing their puppet Yats, he packed his junta with the same violent neo Nazis who had set Kiev on fire. Those neo-Nazis then began bombing and shelling civilians in East Ukraine, killing 7000 of them, and left wing parties cannot participate in elections. Meanwhile the new Ukraine government is making moves to join NATO.
During WW2, didn't we fight the Nazis? Didn't our fathers and grandfathers fight against the Nazis?
So did NATO just disrespect and piss all over the graves of all those who fought and died fighting the Nazis by using neo-Nazis to destabilise Ukraine?
