The Senate has rejected a measure from Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) to sunset two war bills and force a debate on what war powers President Trump should have.

Senators voted 61-36 Wednesday to table an amendment from the Kentucky Republican to get rid of the 2001 and 2002 Authorizations for the Use of Military Force (AUMF).

Paul wanted to attach a six-month sunset of the two war bills to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that is moving through the Senate. The 2001 AUMF was approved the wake of the Sept. 11 attacks, while the 2002 AUMF authorized the Iraq War.

Paul warned that voting against his resolution was voting to let the president do "whatever he wants."

Imagine my shock. The Trump Effect is leading to Democrats now winning districts that he easily won last year.

It's called chaos, confusion and disappointment...and possibly fear of Trump with the nuclear codes.

Democrats flipped state House seats in New Hampshire and Oklahoma on Tuesday, replacing Republicans in two districts ahead of the crucial 2018 midterm elections.

Democratic school teacher Jacob Rosecrants garnered 60 percent of the vote in the race of for Oklahoma's House District 46, defeating Republican Darin Chambers, who had 40 percent according to unofficial counts.

Rosecrants, who lost in the last election by the same margin, is the first Democrat to win the district since 2012.

Republicans in the district held a nearly 3,000 voter-registration advantage in the district.

Democrat Charlie St. Clair was also victorious in New Hampshire's District 9 House election, beating Republican Steven Whalley, 56 to 44 percent, according to unofficial counts.

St. Claire will replace Republican Robert Fisher in that district.

President Trump won both districts in Oklahoma and New Hampshire in 2016 by double-digit margins.

The Trump International Beach Resort, in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, has asked the government for permission to hire more temporary foreign workers to labor as housekeepers, according to records posted by the Department of Labor on Monday.

The resort, which is near Miami, licenses President Donald Trump’s name but is owned by the International Resorts Management Group. It asked for permission to bring in 10 housekeepers, claiming no Americans wanted the jobs. The positions pay $10.64 an hour.

Including this latest request, companies owned by Trump or bearing his name have already sought to hire at least 380 foreign guest workers under the federal H-2 visa guest worker programs since June of 2015 when he announced his presidential campaign. Most recently, in July, Mar-A-Lago, the private club that Trump calls his Winter White House, asked for permission to hire 70 foreign workers as cooks, servers and housekeepers, according to Labor Department records.

Well...

A major construction company owned by the Chinese government was hired to work on the latest Trump golf club development in Dubai despite a pledge from Donald Trump that his family business would not engage in any transactions with foreign government entities while he serves as president.

Trump’s partner, DAMAC Properties, awarded a $32-million contract to the Middle East subsidiary of China State Construction Engineering Corporation to build a six-lane road as part of the residential piece of the Trump World Golf Club Dubai project called Akoya Oxygen, according to news releases released by both companies. It is scheduled to open next year.

The companies’ statements do not detail the exact timing of the contract except to note it was sometime in the first two months of 2017, just as Trump was inaugurated and questions were raised about a slew of potential conflicts of interest between his presidency and his vast real estate empire.

Years before the election last year, Infowars made their fortune from claiming that 9/11 was done with the participation of Israel and Saudi Arabia, and that these two nations also ran Islamic State.

Before he was elected last year, Bomber Trump was openly Zionist, stating that Netanyahu was "a great guy" and claiming that nobody loved Israel more than him, even after Netanyahu had killed 520 children in Gaza in 2014. Trump also gave the impression that he thought Saudi Arabia played some part in 9/11.

But despite this, Infowars openly supported and promoted Trump, which may or may not have helped him to achieve victory. Analysis suggests that Murdoch's media empire and the pro-Israel Breitbart were the major media that helped to elect Trump, with a strong social media operation also playing a part, which is where Infowars may or may not have helped.

But since his election, Trump has courted the Saudis, agreeing a $350 billion weapons and defence deal, and also forming an alliance with the Saudis (who did do 9/11 and unleashed the Jihadis) against Iran (who didn't do 9/11 and is fighting the Jihadis). Trump is also looking to rip up the P5+1 deal with Iran for Israel, which will totally destabilise the Middle East. Infowars are fully aware of the plan revealed to General Wesley Clark for war and regime change in seven countries in five years. Somalia and Iran are the only two nations to not have experienced war, but Trump is slowly invading Somalia. And after years of warning Obama to stay out of Syria, at the first opportunity he got Trump bombed Syria, and is now building bases in Syria and forging an alliance with the Syrian Kurds. This alliance with the Kurds could lead to war with Iran if the Kurds begin to demand autonomy and the Iranians refuse.

9/11 was an inside job to kick all this off, with Iran as the ultimate target. Kissinger, for whom Trump has "tremendous respect", would prefer Islamic State to an Iran with a huge influence in the Middle East. And Trump's foreign policy so far is definitely in line with US foreign policy since 9/11.

Infowars were fully aware of Trump's Zionism, but showed no concern, and in fact openly flirted with Zionist media. But Trump has done 'em like a kipper over that "cancer on the world", Saudi Arabia.

All that Trump is doing is making a few tweaks to the right.

THE THREE YORKSHIRE PEAKS IN ONE PHOTO

There is a lane that runs south from Hornby, called Moor Lane, that leads to a little village called Roeburndale. After you climb up that lane you go over a cattle grid and this view is on your left looking east towards the three Yorkshire peaks: Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-ghent.

The view is even better on Google Maps (one thing that Google is good for).

But the view from there back to Hornby on a clear day in winter is even better, with the Lake District clearly visible and covered in snow.

This is a beautiful planet...and we're not looking after it: wars; nuclear weapons; pollution.

Question : was that use necessary?

In other words, surrender was first rejected in order to produce the circumstances for the USA to drop the bombs.

Question : so, can we trust Bomber Trump with such mini-nukes? The man who bombs and builds bases in Syria? The man who assists that "cancer on the world", Saudi Arabia, commit genocide and infanticide in Yemen? The man who prompted missileers, the officers who launch the nukes, to write an open letter expressing their deep concern that Trump should not have nuclear codes?

Answer : Absolutely not! Just think about it. Trump could order the use of a mini-nuke, hoping that nobody would notice. Just like he has betrayed his base hoping that nobody would notice.
