SHOULD THE QUEEN TAKE THE STAND IN THE DIANA INQUEST?

There is much chatter in the papers today about the Mishcon Note, in which he records Diana claiming she was to be got rid of in a car crash, and the Queen would abdicate. Mishcon was concerned enough to ask for Diana's security to be increased.

The papers, and commentators, attempt to laugh such claims off because the Queen did not abdicate.

But who has asked her? Was she going to abdicate, but changed her mind? If so, what changed her mind?

If she had decided to abdicate but changed her mind this would shine a completely different light on the Mishcon Note.

Another question that could be asked of The Queen, should she take to the stand, would be, who are those 'dark forces' you mentioned to Paul Burrell?

But one thing that cannot be denied; it does not look good when Diana predicts the exact manner of her death, and high ranking police officers withhold evidence that indicates she knew how she was going to die.
