THE LUTON HOMECOMING SMELLS A BIT FISHY

Much has been made in the media, last night and this morning, of the protest of the homecoming of "The Poachers" in Luton yesterday.

The Royal Anglian Regiment paraded through Luton. A group of local muslims protested. Last night the media were happy to report that violence occured, but did not mention who was arrested, implying the protestors were violent. One interviewer on BBC radio I heard last night allowed an interviewee to continue his claims that protestors had been arrested for violence. It was 5 minutes later that the interviewer clarified the point that it was not protestors who had been arrested.

But this morning I have yet to hear one mention of those arrests.

The protestors had appplied to protest (this in a land of freedom!?). Their application was accepted. Their protest was thus legal. Their protest was filmed. The police stood immediately in front of them and filmed them.

The Poachers had returned from Iraq.

Iraq. That land of sand and oil...and home of the largest US Embassy on the planet.

Nearly six years to the day that lying Bilderberg bastard Tony "grinning maniac" Blair stood up in Parliament and lied. He lied and lied, and just in case he hadn't lied enough, he lied some more. And sat behind him, not questioning one single claim that Blair made, was Gordon Brown. Blair told our elected representatives that CIA agent Saddam Hussein had WMD what could strike everyone's garden barbecue within 45 minutes. Blair told our elected representatives that Iraqi oil would be held in a UN trust fund and all proceeds from the use of Iraqi oil, extraction, processing and distribution, would go to Iraq, "Iraqi oil for the Iraqis". And just in case we weren't outraged into war there were also allegations that Iraq was involved in 9/11 complete with cartoons of Saddam flying a plane into a tower of the WTC.

But since then, what has happened?

Since 20th March 2003 an estimate of 1 million Iraqi civilian deaths has been reached. Most were killed by the Coalition of the Willing, from 30,000 feet in the sky, or from missiles fired from miles away, smart missiles that we were told could recognise the difference between a terrorist and a non-terrorist (civilian).

Since 20th March 2003 Iraqi oil has been quietly awarded to a handful of Anglo-American oil companies, owned and/or managed by Blair's Bilderberger friends.

Since 20th March 2003 it has been shown that Iraq did not have WMD and was not involved in 9/11.

And since 20th March 2003 Tony "grinning maniac" Blair has been awarded a consultancy post with J P Morgan Chase, arguably the most evil bank on the planet (though HSBC could have something to say about that), and has also been appointed Special Peace Envoy to the Middle East, which is such a demanding role that when Israel was laying waste to Gaza over New Year and killing thousands of Gazan civilians Blair could not leave his holiday to stop the carnage.

So putting yesterday's events in perspective;
1. why was a parade desired and/or required? have all and are all regiments returning from Iraq to make similar parades? If so why?
2. why is nothing now being said of the arrests? the protest was legal (and was being filmed by police). And why were earlier mentions of the arrests attempts to imply that the protestors had been violent?
3. why was there such a media presence for this parade but not for the return of the wounded maimed and indeed for the return of the caskets filled with the dead?
4. why is the real reason for the war not being mentioned : OIL/IMPERIALISM/MORE WAR? (see Rebuilding America's Defenses and A Clean Break)

I have no evidence that any soldier who paraded yesterday was a baby-killer, and I do not believe they are.

But our government is a using "our boys" as a massively financed and armed terrorist organisation, lying to us and in some cases allowing civilians to die in order to persuade us that "our boys" must be sent abroad on military adventures to provoke yet more war or to simply steal natural resources.

Meanwhile, when "our boys" return home injured their government treats them like shit, refuses them treatment and hides them away from the public!
