STAN FISCHER ENTERS RACE TO BECOME HEAD OF IMF

At the last minute Stanley Fischer, the establishment's man, has put his name forward for head of the IMF. The FT has been been very keen on Fischer, attacking Lagarde and others as inadequate, and it is perhaps more than coincidence that Bilderberg was going to decide who the next head of the IMF would be and then Fischer then enters the race. Fischer is 67 but there is an age limit of 65[1].

So why would Fischer put his name forward if he knows he is too old? Unless he has been told that the IMF will relax this regulation?

Is Fischer at Bilderberg? His name is not on the list, but perhaps he is an as yet unrecognised attendee, or just popped in for a hour or two.

We shall see.
