The police advice is that if you see this man, do not approach him. He is likely to con you out of thousands of pounds and then spy on you and steal your work. Contact your nearest police station to inform them of his whereabouts, and the police will deal with the situation. Meanwhile, keep yourself safe in your home, make sure the doors and windows are locked, and keep a large kitchen knife handy in case he tries his con artistry on you to defraud you of your money and/or work.
And if I'm wrong he can take me to court (which he won't, coz it's all true).
