WHY WOULD AUSTRIA WANT TO MASS TEST THE WHOLE NATION USING INACCURATE TESTS THAT PRODUCE MANY FALSE POSITIVES?

The Austrian government knows that the tests are unreliable. A member of parliament showed how a glass of cola produced a positive.

In 2 weeks time the whole of Austria is being asked to participate in a mass test. You can book your test appointment online.

But why go through with this?

Is it to produce enough 'positives' to induce panic and accelerate mandatory vacccination? 

Those who test negative can go about their daily lives when the current lockdown is lifted on the 18th January.

Those who test positive AND those who refuse to participate must stay under lockdown for a further week, though there is still some debate about the legality of all this. Indeed there is apparently going to be no or very little enforcement.

And small protests are occuring, though the media reports that it is the same band of people travelling around the country rather than different groups in different cities.

This mass testing is probably the same kind of trick that the UK government is trying to pull in testing children in schools.
