Before the British Empire there was the Venetian Empire.
In the early 16th Century the nations of Europe and the Vatican had had enough of the Venetians and their evils and manipulation. So they ganged up to form the League of Cambrai to destroy Venice.
But Venice bribed the Pope and split the League.
The Venetians got the message and looked for sanctuary elsewhere and found it in King Henry VIII of England. Henry was about the only ruler in Europe who supported Venice.
But Henry also had a bit of a problem himself: he couldn't keep it in his tights and wanted to divorce and remarry, but the Vatican opposed divorce and remarriage.
So the Venetians sent over their agents to advise Henry on his options, and acting on their advice he created his own church: The Church of England.
The Venetians then moved north to England to eventually create the British Empire. Along the way the Venetians moved through the Netherlands and created The Dutch Empire before settling in England.
The Anglo-Dutch wars were over transferring power from the Netherlands to England.
The English Civil War was about allowing the Venetian/Dutch to settle in England.
The Venetians brought their Freemasonry and love of slavery with them.
They then formed the Bank of England to finance the creation of the British Empire, the Royal Navy, trading routes and colonialism.
When the American colonies rebelled the British/Venetians arranged the US Civil War by dividing the United States over slavery.
And when that failed and the US, Germany and Russia began to work together the British/Venetians engineered WW1 hoping to create a world government that they would control.
But that failed.
