DID WOODY ALLEN TRY TO COVER UP JFK AND MLK ASSASSINATION IN, ANNIE HALL?

Annie Hall won 5 Oscars in 1978, including Best Picture and Best Screenplay.

In one particular scene Allen's character, Alvy Singer, addresses the impossibility of Lee Harvey Oswald acting alone. His girlfriend in this scene is sceptical, and suggests that it would be impossible for that to be covered up. She then suggests that Singer is just talking about JFK to avoid having sex with her. Singer/Allen agrees with her.

In 1976 The Select Committee on Assassinations of the House of Representatives was created to investigate the assassinations of JFK and MLK. Their final report in 1979 concluded that both JFK and MLK were probably assassinated in conspiracies involving more than one person in each assassination.
