They intend to spy on you and collect as much data on you as possible.
To analyse all that data requires huge computational resources.
Those resources generate massive amounts of heat, and need cooling.
It's cheaper to send data to Greenland than transport ice from Greenland.
But if the planet is warming then Greenland won't be covered in ice much longer,
