THEY KNEW 21/7 BOMBERS TOO

WTF is going on?

7/7 : at first it was claimed the alleged bombers were "clean skins" but we now know they were on the fringe of the biggest plot to attack Britain, and that warnings were received about an attack on London transport after someone in Belmarsh heard the Crevice plotters discussing the plan, and that the alleged ringleader of 7/7 had been recorded expressing his desire for Jihad.

30/6/07 : again it was first claimed the attack had come out of the blue, but we now know some of the attackers were on a terrorist watch list and that a warning had been issued on al-Hesbah, a suspected intelligence front, about the day of the attack.

And now with 21/7, it appears some the failed bombers were known and on a terrorist list, had been followed to the Lake District where they trained, and one of them was even on bail after being arrested on suspicion of extremism.

What you have to contrast this "incompetence" with is the non-existent Ricin Plot, the non-existent Old Trafford Plot, the non-existent Exploding Chemical Vest Plot, and a long, long list of trumped up bollocks. 1000+ arrested. 40 charged.

Yet when anything happens we open the newspapers, turn on the radio and TV, and all we get is "90 day detention", "15 year war against terrorism", "snitch on your family, friends and neighbours", "we mustn't let them chage our way of life" etc.

Fearmongering. It's Stalinist Russia. It's Hitler's Germany. It's Pinochet's Chile.

Fear. Fear. Fear.

Police let the July 21 bombers slip the net

By Duncan Gardham

Police missed a string of opportunities to intercept four terrorists months before the botched suicide bomb attacks on July 21, it became clear last night.

Police let the July 21 bombers slip the net: Muktar Said Ibrahim, Yassin Hassan Omar, Ramzi Mohammed, and Hussain Osman
Guilty: Muktar Said Ibrahim, Yassin Hassan Omar, Ramzi Mohammed, and Hussain Osman [left to right]

Four men who were given sanctuary in Britain after leaving their war-torn countries were yesterday found guilty of a plot that would have killed hundreds of people on the London transport system two years ago.

Muktar Ibrahim, 29, the leader of the suicide gang, was seen by officers on at least four occasions before the bombings, Woolwich Crown Court had heard and was on bail after being arrested on suspicion of extremism.

London was saved only by Ibrahim's lack of basic arithmetic. A scribbled note found at the bomb factory showed that Ibrahim, who had failed maths GCSE, had wrongly calculated the ratio of ingredients, rendering the bombs harmless.

Despite having a criminal record, he was given British citizenship even as he plotted the potentially murderous attacks.

Ibrahim had been in Pakistan at the same time as the leaders of the July 7 plot - Mohammed Siddique Khan and Shezhad Tanweer - and the devices his team employed were remarkably similar to those that killed 52 travellers and four bombers in the first attacks.

The later bombs were designed to cause an atrocity "bigger and better" and failed only because the devices had been put together wrongly.

Yesterday, as Ibrahim was found guilty of conspiracy to murder, alongside Yassin Omar, 26, Ramzi Mohammed, 25, and Hussain Osman, 28, questions were asked how he had been permitted to travel abroad.

David Davis, the shadow home secretary, said: "This trial has revealed that the ringleader in the 21/7 plot was allowed to leave the country to train at a camp in Pakistan and return to plan and attempt the attack.

"This was despite the fact that he was facing criminal charges for extremism."

====================================================

Yesterday it was claimed by Interpol that the UK wasn't checking the Interpol list of terrorist suspects anywhere near as frequently as other countries, despite this constant media terrorist attack on us that we are all targets of dastardly Islamic terrorist plots.

Meanwhile, hundreds of civilians have been killed in Afghanistan by NATO from their brave carpet and surgical bombing.
