Some, due to Icke, think the Rothschilds were in on it from the start and have been controlling events since the beginning of the universe.

Right?

Wrong!

Before the Rothschilds it was the in-laws of chief propagandist for Brexit, Dominic Cummings: the Barings.

In fact, when I was researching the Barings in 2013 I was surprised, shocked and disturbed at, even though they were in many ways the drivers of the British Empah, how much the Barings were involved in financing the fledgling United States of America. And not only that, how friendly the Barings were with the US Government. This actually supports Icke's thesis that the whole US revolutionary war was a scam.

And now we find Barings at the heart of Brexit, with one of their own, Dominic Cummings, as the chief propagandist for Brexit, along with Murdoch's puppet Farage. Cummings loves the British commoner so much that he was found in contempt of Parliament for not testifying to a Partliamentary inquiry into Brexit.

Coz Cummings and his British oligarchy in-laws and their ilk detest the British people, and see them as mere military cannon fodder or financial cannon fodder.

They want out of the EU to avoid EU financial regulation and taxation after they engineered the 2007/8 financial crisis, to slash British workers' rights in a race to the bottom, and destroy all resistance to Israel and the Iran nuclear deal which is stopping the destruction of Iran because their 9/11 plan for war and regime change is already 11 years behind schedule.
