Cummings married into the Barings. He has a 1st class degree in Modern History from Oxford. How can he not know who the Barings are and were.
Before the Rothschilds it was the Barings: Barings Bank; British East India Company; slavery.
The Barings were known as The Sixth Great Power. Considered so powerful as to have power greater than most nations. And they were the beating heart of the British Empah (see above).
If through Brexit Cummings was doing anything the British establishment around the Barings didn't want then he'd have been out before he started.
But he was kept in place, and won. And it took 5 years before he was removed after he drove several hundred miles under lockdown to see his family.
I was reading this book in 2013: The Sixth Great Power, by Philip Ziegler.
I had no idea then why I was doing so. I do now.
