The truth is that there are some shortages of some products because there is a shortage of lorry drivers to deliver those products, and that's because of: the lockdowns leading to cancellations of tests for new drivers to replace the old; Brexit leading to some European drivers returning to Europe; and very few UK youth wanting to enter the lorry driving industry because of low pay and working conditions.
The logistics industry has been warning of this for years.
Currently this is also leading to a shortage of tanker drivers to deliver fuel to garages, leading to some panic buying of petrol and diesel in some locations, but not everywhere.
So it's nowhere near what Alex Jones tries to make out the situation as: panic; food riots, stock-piling, etc.
But about 15 minutes before this wild, inaccurate claim Alex was warning that Infowars is millions of dollars short and he could close Infowars early next year... UNLESS YOU BUY LOADS OF UNNECESSARY HEALTH PRODUCTS AND CLOTHING AND COFFEE!
I was in my local Sainsburys today: no shortages of anything; but there was a queue for petrol and diesel.
