Alabama was one of the first states to secede in order to join The Confederate States of America to preserve slavery. This occured before Lincoln engineered the passage of the 13th Amendment which outlawed slavery throughout the Union.

The song is about how beautiful Alabama is. But so is Austria. And you know what Austria produced: THIEVING, SPYING, ARROGANT NAZIS!
Alabama produced thieving, spying arrogant Confederate scum. This is neo-Confederacy at its worst. But not as rotten and wretched as Alex Jones and Infowars and their defence, support and promotion of The Confederacy.
